The CLIENT
Our Client is one of the fastest growing independent distribution companies in the UK. Their catalogue of top quality programming includes factual entertainment, science and history drama and documentary.
There is currently a vacancy for a Contracts Coordinator reporting into the Contracts Manager.
The ROLE
The primary function of this position will be to work alongside Sales, Finance and Legal to administer license and distribution agreements, ensuring the smooth running of their progress from initial stages through the negotiation process and to final execution.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Regular liaison with broadcasters regarding outstanding contracts
- Maintaining status lists, sales reports and contracts database.
- Data entry of sales licence terms from Deal Memos and invoice info onto Rightstracker.
- Be first point of contact for Sales team re rights information / availability reports.
- Assist Sales team for markets such as Mip and MipCom.
- Assist Managers with other ad hoc projects such as contract reversioning.
The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A solid background in contract coordination within broadcast and distribution rights.
- Excellent administrative and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with an analytical mindset.
- MS Office (especially Excel) is a must, as is database expertise, particularly rights management systems.
